She has a lot of songs and albums, her favourite and MOST! Famous song is "Royals". She is a New Zealander and she lives in Auckland. She is a very famous singer here in New Zealand because of her most beautiful voice!

I would REALLY! REALLY! want to go to  Tāne Mahuta , because I really want to know all about new things about Tāne Mahuta and also the other plants at the place were  Tāne Mahuta  which is called in English the living Endemic Tree.

The reason that I want to go to  Tāne Mahuta because I want to know all about  Tāne Mahuta and also know all the other plants around  Tāne Mahuta and the other plants there as well.  Also it has another named the Kauri tree that at my school we had 4 Kauri classes but know we have five because Rm 12 went to Rm 11 and the Rosser House (class room) children and the teacher there moved to Rm 12 so now they are called Rm 12, so that's the reason why I want to go to the Kauri tree.

I live at Auckland with my mum and dad also with my little sister and my brother is at Tonga.  I really like Auckland because it does not have so much thunder and storm, also there are so many schools and places where you can visit including the Zoo, the Zoo has a lot of animals also there are some lions it also includes the 2 new Lions named Malik and Zulu, they are the 2 new Lions in the Auckland Zoo they also just started this year and they went to the Zoo at the end of Term 3.

Also did you know that there are pools at Auckland, there are lots of the pools and also last Friday  May Road School went to Jellicoe pools and it was sooo fun there that we came back at 2 o'clock pm, it had soo many pools that I was so excited to go in them that I also keept on moving all over the place so I went from one place to another.   Also there are other pools in Auckland as well.

There are a lot of places were you can go to at Auckland.  There is also a lot of shops at Auckland, also there are MANY! MANY! Schools at Auckland.  Also when you go around Auckland there are more than 6'000 people there, "I KNOW RIGHT!" There is many people at Auckland, as well there are LOTS! of people that has no home or have anything to or "NO! MONEY!"  There are a lot of the people out at Auckland that has "NO FOOD".

Today Megan from the Summer Learning Journey said today is the day that we can start the activity's.  There are 3 activities for each day for the last holidays for 2018. 

1.  Do you know that the New Zealand Maori name is? Aotearoa and also do you know what Aotearoa means?  Well it means the long white cloud,  well do you know that I never even knowed that Aotearoa means the Long White Cloud.

2.  Also did you know that New Zealand was governed as part of the territory of new south wales and later part of Australia! Also I never even knowed a bit of information about that.

3.  Did you also know that the Auckland Sky Tower is the tallest and freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere at 328 meters high and also it is taller than Goliath from the of David.

I think that the legend of Maui is REALLY! true and that the people that are living on the south of New Zealand are people who are living on the boat of Maui or the Maori name is Te waka o te Maui and the people that are living on the north of New Zealand is staying on the fish of Maui or for the Maori name is te ika o Maui.

Maui and The Great Fish
(Here is three things that I have learnt about in the story of Maui and The Great Fish.

This is the 3 things that I have learnt about, it is under this writing↑↑)

I learnt to never tease other people including my family and friends because that is
what Maui’s older brothers did to him and also people you have to not tease one an
other even if you don’t know them still don’t tease them but that's what Maui’s brother
did teas there own little brother, also even though you see people teasing other people
don’t tease other people because that is not the GOOD way it is called the BAD way.  

Another thing that I have learnt is being jealous about others even though other people
is greater than you don’t be jealous about them just be yourself because you are already
mighty and strong you don’t have to be a jealous person and be more stronger than
them like what Maui’s brothers did to Maui because he had more might and was very
strong and not let them come with you just let them come because they might be very
helpful.

 The last thing that I have learnt about is to listen to others, remember to always listen
to others even when they are younger than you. When Maui told his brothers to
leave the big fish alone so he can go and get all the people in the village but Maui's
brothers never listened because he was the youngest out of the family, and they ate a
little bit of the fish and all of them was fighting about what part that they eat and when
the people came they saw the boys and all the people saw what happened and also
called the boys SNITCHES!

This week Rm 13 have been practising for the Summer Learning Journey in Christmas Holidays. This is and GOOD! practice before the Christmas Holiday and the Summer Learning Journey.

This is my favourite drink.  It is made in Tonga and it is a very refreshing drink for summer because you can put in ice and drink it all.  Tongans like to make otai on BIRTHDAYS! SUNDAYS! and most of all ANYTIME! we love otai.
