Pohutukawa Tree

Hi there, this week we have been learning about the Pohutukawa Tree. A Pohutukawa Tree is the New Zealand Christmas Tree because it is because the Pohutukawa flowers only are seen in December. The Pohutukawa tree was presented to Africa and also Australia but it was first planted in New Zealand.

A Life Cycle

In Term 2019, my reading group was learning about the cricket Life Cycle.  This is my Google Drawing about a cricket Life Cycle.  So first a adult female should lay an egg in spring then during winter they have not hatched then after winter then it's spring they start to hatch and turn into a nymph, then a few weeks later or a year they turn into an adult as a female or a male.
