Tanerore Haka!

Welcome to another Summer Learning Journey activity, today I have a kowhaiwhai pattern that I drew all by myself, I also outlined it once I finished the koru patterns. This koru pattern represents the shimmering air, it's a sign that Tanerore (son of Tama-nui-te-ra) is doing a haka for his mother!

Hope you enjoy reading the rest of my SLJ activity's!

  1. Kia Ora Fatafehi,

It’s Charlotte here, a commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. What a cool Kowhaiwhai pattern you have designed!

I think that it is awesome how you included a description about what the meaning of your Kowhaiwhai pattern is! I think it is amazing how you drew this all yourself. I wonder if adding a few different shapes such as the Kape, and maybe some colour would make your work look even better!

I have also noticed that you have now registered for our Summer Learning Journey, that is awesome! I hope to continue to see you doing some of the activities in the future.

  2. Ka pai Fatafehi. I love your description at the start of your blog post. It shows that you understood the information Vicki told you and will help to teach others. I also like your korus and the range of sizes you have. How about colouring them in? Or did you choose not to for a specific reason?
